Flying Pig launch their first networking event – Flying Pig breakfast club is an opportunity for business owners, entrepreneurs and execs to get together for breakfast, make connections and share experiences

Summer is here and with it our new venture – a networking event – Flying Pig Breakfast Club!

Making use of our fabulous location at Elstree Aerodrome on Thursday 11th July between 8am-10am we will be holding our very first breakfast meeting at our rather unique family run helicopter flying school. What better surroundings to take a breath than enjoying the sunshine with a cuppa with other businessmen/women.

Our guest speaker will be Philippa Wickham, from Outside Perspective. Philippa is a business coach and will be giving a talk on Growth Mindset and to offer her advice and share her own experiences. Here’s a sound bite from her website “My approach to coaching recognises that we are all different. I carry out different types of coaching from goal-oriented coaching through to psychodynamic coaching depending upon what you need. My favourite type of coaching is coaching whilst walking for your mental and physical health. As individuals, we all need a unique approach and perspective”.

This is an opportunity for entrepreneurs, business owners, executives and professionals to get together, make connections, get advice, use each other as sounding boards and really discuss ways of coping with some of the pressures that business can bring. We have an axiom in aviation – Aviate, Navigate, Communicate – this can be applied to your work life…. Fly the aircraft first and foremost then navigate to where you want to go and once the situation is under control then communicate. So, apply that to your business – Run the business, plan where you want the business to go then talk about your experiences. Sometimes just expressing with other professionals how you are feeling can really help relieve this pressure and stress and understand you’re not alone!

Company founder Paul White will also give a brief talk on how the cockpit is a stress-free zone and how learning to fly/other hobbies have helped many business owners take time away from the pressures of business.

Best of all is that this event is free of charge, so please join us on Thursday 11th July 8am-10am for a cup of coffee (or tea) and a pastry
